Trip Overview:
This 7-day Irish vacation takes you to Dublin and Belfast to explore the two capitals on the Emerald Isle. It features first-class accommodations and small group tours.
Your journey begins in Dublin, the Irish capital that’s awash with friendly people, 18th-century architecture, and excellent pubs and restaurants. A half-day tour will showcase the city on an intimate group experience, passing from St. Patrick Cathedral to other city landmarks in the back of a Mercedes Viano. The next day, head to Epic Ireland for a state-of-the-art, multi-media journey through the ages. Learn about tales of Irish migration and the history of the land in the historic vaults of Custom House Quay. At the Guinness Storehouse, you’ll learn about the history of the stout that defines Ireland, witness its brewing process, and enjoy a pint at tour’s end. Then head to the Old Jameson Distillery to learn about the other alcoholic beverage that captures the flavour of the nation and taste some whiskies.
From Dublin, ride the train north and connect to Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland. That evening, transport yourself back in time to the 1930s at the Art Deco Bert’s Bar, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a jazz show. The next day, learn about the Troubles on a black cab tour that takes you along Falls Road, Shankill Road, and to the Peaceline Wall. At the Titanic Experience, learn about the tragic history of the supposedly unsinkable ship in the city where it was constructed. Venture across nine galleries to see artifacts from the shipwreck and learn about the people behind its story. End your time in Belfast with a visit to the Gobbins Path and Visitor Centre, where you’ll head along bridges and tunnels to admire the cliffs of the region and spot some birds.
At the end of your stay, connect to the airport to return home.
